WORKING AT HEIGHT BASIC SAFETY (Level 1)
Eligibility
:
Open to all operators who need to access and work within any form of elevated platforms, rooftops and structures on buildings and works of engineering construction where safe means of access and work-platforms are provided.
Pre-requisite
:

With medical certificate.

Course Content
:
Fall Hazard Identification, risk assessment, risk control measures, current Legislations and standards, fall prevention & fall arrest, first responder rescue, use, inspection and maintenance of PPE.
Course Methodology & Assessment
:
Theory, Demonstration, Group Dynamic, written test and practical assessment on elevated platform structure and ladders.

:
2 days
Course Notes & Certification
:

Notes provided with the certificate of attendance and competency card, valid for a two year period. Thereafter a re-assessment is required through a one day refresher course, in order to qualify the card holder a further two year validity period.

:
12 (min) - 14 (max) Pax
Training Venue
:
At Max Paragon training centre or in-house with suitable class and training structures.

Conditions for Application of Refresher courses:
:
Should the expiry date be exceeded by more than two years, at the time of application, the card holder will have to attend the original two day course.
